In the Gospels, we find Jesus encouraging the people who needed His help to only  believe  in Him. He never asked them, “Have you been deserving or wonderful in your behavior?” He never asked them about their law keeping or performance. He was only interested in whether they believed He would do good to them. My friend, good character, good behavior and acts of charity are all good, but they cannot earn you favor with God. GOOD FIGHTS Dag Heward-Mills READ: 1 Timothy 6:11-16 ...and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1:3 Do not fight a foolish fight. The Bible teaches us to fight the good fight. It is a good thing to fight the good fight of faith. To fight means to strive vigorously for something. However, there are many foolish fights a person can get into. Years ago when I was in school I got into a fight with a bully in my school. Two things happened after the fight. First of all I thought I had won the fight or been equally matched with my opponent. But everyone around laughed at me and said I had been beaten. Secondly, for all my efforts I received a black eye. The entire region around my eye became black and stayed that way for about a week. After this fight, I came to the conclusion that there was no point in fighting such useless fights with useless people and a useless audience who did not appreciate my box

Believe in Jesus’ love for you today and experience victory over your challenges (see Rom 8:37).

Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom yet in all your getting of wisdom, seek Understanding, Exalt her and she shall promote and bring you honour. A wise person is not one who quotes proverbs but rather is one who is able to understand a proverb and apply it in odd situations at all times so as to maintain peace and exalt The Love of God.

Mark 6:4 Where the anointing is not honoured, it does not work. Many men of God walk around, having great gifts to impart. Unfortunately, the anointing on their lives is not imparted to anyone and the power of God seems to not to work the way it should. This is nothing strange. Meditate On The Lord...hears the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs 15:29 God Hears Your Prayers - Pastor Joseph Prince In her sadness and anguish, a barren woman went to the temple of God to pray. FLEE Dag Heward-Mills READ: 1 Timothy 6:6-11 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22 The Scripture teaches us to flee youthful lusts, fornication and idolatry. Fleeing is a strategy to defeat an enemy whom you cannot fight effectively and directly. Youthful lust is an enemy you must learn to dodge. There is no point in confronting it head-on. It is too powerful to take on. It is too powerful to try a frontal attack. There are two reasons we must flee youthful lusts. The first is that the flesh is a very strong force that you will grow to respect. It is good that you have a proper respect for the flesh and its capabilities. You may never know what you are capable of doing till you have done it. It is therefore best to keep the flesh contained and directed. Those who take their flesh for granted will live to regret it! The Lord showed me in a flash that those people had not walked in humility when their ministry grew. This church had publicly criticized other ministries and ridiculed ministers from their pulpit. At the peak of their ministry, they would ask people who came from other churches to stand up for cleansing (from the contamination of other ministries). CONTENTION Dag Heward-Mills READ: Proverbs 28:25-26 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom. Proverbs 13:10 A proud look is an attitude that exudes arrogance. A person with a proud look has an attitude that you feel in all your interaction with him. For instance, you may send him a text message or an email but he would not reply even though he knew you were waiting for a reply. You would call him but he would not respond to your calls or he would respond so much later. You would get a sense that your communication to him was not important to him. A humble person would call back immediately and apologise for missing the call. A proud look is a posture that communicates pride and generates contention. Other people’s blood may have a message and may have some power. The blood of Abel, for instance, spoke of murder and cried for revenge. But the blood of Jesus Christ spoke about better things

Exodus 33:14 When you have been with someone, you can speak about the person with authority. The authority comes because you have been with the person. This authority is a manifestation of the anointing on your life. The more anointed you are, the more authority you will have. And the more authority you have, the more powerful you will be. She was too big to obey her husband. She fell from her high position of being the First Lady. How do you know that you are a proud woman? ANOINTED Dag Heward-Mills  READ: 2 Corinthians 1:19-22 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all ... for God was with him. Acts 10:38   The anointing is the Holy Spirit. Every teaching you hear about the Holy Spirit is a teaching about the anointing. The word “anointing” is both a verb and a noun. “Anointing” can mean the substance used to anoint a person - for example, the anointing oil. Anointing can also mean the act of pouring oil on someone. When I speak of the anointing, I speak of the person of the Holy Spirit that is given to you to do the work of God. It is important to go beyond the anointed to see the anointing.
